Function Overview

Planet’s Product & Technology team have a world-class vision for pushing product innovation which helps reinforce Planet’s position as a revenue-generating payments partner across the Retail, Hospitality, Food & Beverage, and Parking verticals.

Planet operates a unique single payments platform that includes acquiring, processing, digital wallets, VAT refund, and currency conversion services to deliver a better customer experience. Our Product & Tech team comprises over 750 employees globally who all help drive the single platform vision, a key differentiator to other payment platforms in the market, and deliver technical excellence both internally & externally for our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Analysis, design, development, and maintenance of the Booking Engine project.
• Follow Planet best practices and adhere to coding standards.
• Work in a small development team following agile principles.
• Work as part of a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality technology.
• Perform code reviews and testing of new features & fixes.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of development experience with PHP 7.4 and later.
• Experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML & CSS.
• Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud.
• Experience with Jira & Confluence.
• Proficient with Git and GitLab CI/CD.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented team player with a desire to work in a small team.
• Fluent in English.
