Join Our Team as a Senior Full Stack Engineer
Kuehne+Nagel, a global leader in logistics, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our innovative IT Hub in Porto, Portugal. This role is pivotal in accelerating digital technologies for our global customers, focusing on developing mission-critical products, e-solutions, and new digital services.
Your Role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing software in line with Kuehne+Nagel's strategic goals. This includes the initial design, development, and coding, along with appropriate testing and implementation. You will be involved throughout the entire development lifecycle, from requirements definition to product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in the development of the product team.
- Propose and implement changes to improve the development process.
- Develop Java- and Angular-based internal digital products.
- Write clean, maintainable code and ensure software quality.
- Collaborate on the definition, specification, and design of modular and integrated software products.
- Design and implement automated tests for your code.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and tools.
Your Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in small to medium software development teams in an agile environment.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills.
- Expertise in full stack development using Java, SpringBoot-RestAPI, Hibernate, OpenShift, Jenkins, Git, Oracle, SQL, and front-end technologies such as Angular and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Kafka, API Gateways, and DevOps is a plus.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Academic degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
