About the Role
We are seeking a Senior/Expert Full Stack Developer passionate about innovative cloud platform topics and the field of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI). This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and deliver future GenAI capabilities across our Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Responsibilities
- Design and build stable and scalable AI-based solutions, PoCs, and first versions of new products & features.
- Make critical design decisions selecting underlying technologies.
- Iterate rapidly experimenting with GenAI, developing both front and backend components.
- Work alongside colleagues in a cross-functional team to develop and deliver modular, reusable components, ensuring they can be seamlessly integrated across a diverse array of cloud technology environments.
- Explore and assess new technologies in the field of generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-augmented development, tools, and infrastructure to evolve existing highly used functionalities and services in the cloud.
- Design, maintain, and optimize the framework for collecting, processing, transforming, and granting access to data for GenAI applications.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science, or related field with 5+ years professional experience in Software Development.
- Strong experience building resilient distributed systems with relevant cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, BTP, AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and concepts (e.g., Go, TypeScript).
- Experience developing both backend and frontend components.
- Experience with state-of-the-art software engineering methodologies, e.g., Test Driven Development, Domain Driven Design, continuous integration, DevOps.
- Familiarity with data-centric languages (Python), SQL databases (e.g., SAP HANA Cloud, PostgreSQL), and data modelling.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.

- Cloud Foundry/Kyma, Docker, Cloud-Native Development, TypeScript, UI5, React, Jenkins, Git, GitOps, DevOps, Python.
- LLMs, Retrieval Augmented Generation, SAP AI Core and GenAI Hub, Vector Engines, LangChain, AI Agents and anything relevant that will come up in the field of GenAI.

It is a multi-disciplinary team of data engineers, engagement leads, development architects and developers that aims to support and deliver AI cases in the context of BTP.
