Join Our Team as a Senior Full Stack Engineer
Kuehne+Nagel, a global leader in logistics, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our innovative IT Hub in Porto, Portugal. This role is pivotal in accelerating digital technologies for our global customers, focusing on developing mission-critical products, e-solutions, and digital services.
Your Role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing software in line with Kuehne+Nagel's strategic goals. This includes designing, developing, and implementing code, as well as conducting suitable testing to ensure effective implementation. You will work closely with the business department to deliver technical and functional solutions for new features and improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire development lifecycle, from requirements definition to product delivery.
- Collaborate with business departments to identify the best solutions for new features.
- Contribute to the development of the product team and propose improvements to the development process.
- Develop Java- and Angular-based digital products within the global Ocean Schedule Portfolio.
- Write clean, maintainable code and ensure the quality and long-term maintainability of the software.
- Design and implement automated tests for your code.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools.
Your Skills and Experience
- Experience in small to medium software development teams in an agile environment.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills.
- Several years of experience as a full stack developer using Java, Angular, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Docker, OpenShift, Jenkins, Git, Oracle, ReactJS, and SQL.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Kafka, API Gateways, Microservice architecture, and DevOps is a plus.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
