Join Our Platform AI Team as a Full Stack Developer
SAP is seeking a passionate Full Stack Developer to join our Platform AI Team. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about innovative cloud platform topics and the field of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI). As a Full Stack Developer, you will have the opportunity to shape and deliver the future of GenAI capabilities across our Business Technology Platform (BTP).
What You’ll Do
- Design and Build: Develop stable and scalable AI-based solutions, proof of concepts, and initial versions of new products and features.
- Iterate Rapidly: Experiment with GenAI, developing both front and backend components.
- Collaborate: Work closely with architects, data engineers, UX designers, and other team members in a cross-functional team.
- Contribute: Participate in development, testing, and deployment under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Innovate: Explore and assess new technologies in the field of generative AI, LLMs, and AI-augmented development.
What You Bring
- Experience: At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing and building cloud-native applications and microservices.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one strongly typed language, with experience in both backend (e.g., TypeScript/Node.js) and frontend (e.g., UI5/React) development.
- Commitment to Quality: Strong focus on clean, scalable code and robust API design.
- Adaptability: Ability to keep pace with GenAI technology shifts and solve problems creatively.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.

- Current Tech: Docker, JavaScript, UI5, React, Jenkins, Git, GitOps, Python.
- Emerging Tech: LLMs, Retrieval Augmented Generation, SAP AI Core and GenAI Hub, Vector Engines, LangChain, AI Agents.
