About the Role
TUI Group is seeking a talented and dedicated Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Airline Technology organization. This role is pivotal in supporting operational systems to ensure a stable, reliable, and secure airline operation. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional team that enables software development skills and capabilities across a whole domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Software Development: You will own the software products from conception to operation, developing software products with a broad toolkit of technologies and methods.
- DevSecOps Mindset: Advocate for state-of-the-art software development practices, focusing on automation, clean architectures, and high quality with a customer-centric mindset.
- Cloud Environment: Work in a cloud environment, especially AWS, and develop resilient and high-performing cloud-native applications.
- Collaboration: Support your team in delivering the best solutions to our customers’ needs, taking full responsibility for applications from design to operation.
- Innovation: Research, evaluate, and test new approaches, processes, and tools, helping teams to use them effectively.
About You
- Technical Expertise: Strong expertise in JavaScript (e.g., ES6/7/8/next, Typescript) or Java, and experience with implementing resource-oriented APIs (REST, GraphQL).
- Database Knowledge: Experience with data persistence in Oracle/Postgres databases and DynamoDB/MongoDB.
- Cloud Design: Expertise in cloud design, infrastructure as code, tools, and services on AWS.
- Agile Environment: Comfortable working in an Agile environment with good experience in CI/CD, preferably Gitlab CI.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in English, with good communication skills for interdisciplinary and international teamwork.
