Staff Full-Stack Engineer (Web Experience)

At Kpler, we are on a mission to simplify global trade information and provide valuable insights. As a Staff Full-Stack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our Engineering team, leading the Web Experience group. This position is based in Rostock, Germany, and offers a hybrid work model.
Role and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of web applications using TypeScript and React.
- Be willing to work with Vue.js web applications where required.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers, fostering their growth and expertise.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and project requirements.
- Act as a technical expert, setting and enforcing best practices in software development.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to enhance our development stack.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance, tackling complex technical challenges and propose innovative solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
- Substantial professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on TypeScript and React development.
- Familiarity with other frontend technologies, including Vue.js, is considered an advantage.
- Experience with creating and implementing Micro-frontend applications, and of implementing web applications using the Backend for Frontend pattern.
- Experience with full stack technologies and languages, such as Node.js and GraphQL
- Strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of software engineering principles.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Outstanding leadership and mentorship abilities.
