Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and deploy AI applications using Python and relevant frameworks.
Design, build, and maintain web applications using Django.
Implement and fine-tune language models and machine learning algorithms.
Containerize applications using Docker for consistent and scalable deployment.
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software.
Lead and manage small-scale AI projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
Document technical processes and provide support for deployed applications.
Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corporation to achieve common goals.

Education & Experience

BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent degree.
Proven experience in Python programming and web development using Django.
Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
Knowledge of language models, machine learning algorithms, and AI systems.

Skills

Expert proficiency in Python programming.
Strong experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
Proficiency in web application development using Django.
Deep knowledge of implementing language models and machine learning algorithms.
Familiarity with other AI systems and frameworks.
Leadership capabilities to manage small-scale projects and guide team members.
Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively with other members of Coherent Corporation to achieve common goals.
Adaptability to rapidly changing technologies and a proactive approach to learning new skills.
