About The Role
As a Senior AI/ML Engineer at Coda, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge AI solutions that address real-world problems. Your work will involve leveraging the latest AI technologies to create applied solutions that enhance user experiences. You will be responsible for using large language models (LLMs) and training models to assist users in writing content, summarizing data, and building custom applications from natural language prompts.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Development: Build AI solutions and guide the direction and prioritization of problem-solving strategies. Decide which problems to tackle in-house and which to address using third-party products.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering teams to integrate AI across all Coda surfaces, enhancing the overall product experience.
- Remote Work: Collaborate with teams across multiple locations, including Seattle, San Francisco, and Mountain View, with the flexibility to work remotely.
- Customer Experience: Ensure an excellent user experience for Coda customers by participating in on-call rotations for customer support and live production issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: 6+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 years focused on machine learning and experience with large language models and natural language processing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and major ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow. Experience in end-to-end model creation, including data collection, training, evaluation, and productionization.
- Motivation: A strong drive to excel and tackle challenges head-on.
