Lead Front-end Developer
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Front-end Developer to join our dynamic team in Amsterdam. As a Lead Front-end Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development of our front-end applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the back-end. You will work closely with our design and product teams to deliver a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the front-end development team in building responsive and high-performance web applications.
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience.
- Implement and maintain front-end architecture and design patterns.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React Native and Bootstrap.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS.
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in leading a team of developers.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
