Rock Rabbit is a VC-backed, seed-stage climate tech startup focused on making future-proofing homes easy and affordable through AI-powered mobile and web platforms. Our mission is to streamline the process, proof, and payment of electrification rebates and financing, simplifying the complex world of incentive programs for our customers.

The Role

As a Lead Full-stack Engineer at Rock Rabbit, you will be integral to our founding team, developing a building decarbonization management platform. Our software heavily focuses on data modeling and external integrations, built with a service-oriented architecture in mind.

Responsibilities

Lead the engineering team in developing efficient, high-quality, maintainable, scalable, and reliable code.
Manage key responsibilities within the agile software development project lifecycle, including project management, scoping, planning, and risk management.
Collaborate with SMEs, product, and design teams to translate end-user requirements into effective technical solutions.
Lead technical design and development of our SaaS platform.
Build and maintain APIs, services, and systems across our platform.
Ensure code quality through reviews and uphold high standards.

About You

Proven experience as a technical lead, preferably in a SaaS environment.
Strong proficiency in Python and frontend development with frameworks like React.
Understanding of design principles for scalable applications.
Proficiency in data modeling and building external integrations.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Familiarity with agile methodologies.
