Job Description
We are seeking both Mid and Senior Node.js Developers to join our team. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application.
Key Responsibilities
- Integration of User-Facing Elements: Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Code Development: Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
- Application Design: Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
- Security and Data Protection: Implement security and data protection measures.
- Data Storage Solutions: Integrate data storage solutions and ensure optimal performance of the central database.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure responsiveness to front-end requests and develop high-performance applications.
- Documentation: Document Node.js processes, including database schemas, and prepare reports.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.
Key Skills Required
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript and Node.js.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
- Good understanding of server-side templating languages.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
- Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Experience with creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Experience with implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
Location
This position is based in Goa, India, with the possibility of remote work.
