Overview
ZapCom Group Inc is seeking a Senior Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team in Irving, TX. This role involves building robust REST-based microservices using Node.js, Express, and TypeScript. You will be instrumental in shaping the backend architecture and integrating various backend loyalty APIs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices using Node.js and Express.
- Integrate APIs with API gateways, ensuring proper authentication and authorization.
- Manage technical aspects including performance, scalability, and accessibility.
- Deploy code with high code coverage through unit testing.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to provide clear Swagger documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years' experience with Node.js and Express.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and related technologies.
- Experience with AWS deployment and microservices architecture.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
Bonus Points
- Experience with non-SQL databases like MongoDB and DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with the Atlas JavaScript framework or the airline industry.
