Job Title: Senior Full Stack (React/Node) Developer

Location: Woodlawn, MD (Hybrid)

Duration: Long term

Workplace Type: Hybrid (on-site at least 2 days a week)

Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, code, and implement next-generation web applications using software engineering best practices.
• Utilize technologies such as NodeJS, ReactJS, ReduxJS, MobxJS, RESTful APIs, Express, and Knex.
• Engage in DevOps practices using Jenkins, Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, SonarQube, and UrbanCode.
• Provide expertise in Rich Single Page Application modular user interfaces and secure RESTful API micro-services.
• Investigate and repair application defects across front-end, business logic, middleware, or database components.
• Communicate effectively with management, customers, and team members.

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience in full-stack development with Node.js and React.js.
• Strong understanding of user interface frameworks and back-end software architecture.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Express.js, MobX, Redux, or Flux.js.
• Development experience with RESTful Web Services using Node.js.
• Knowledge of Agile development processes including Scrum and Kanban.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries in PostgreSQL.
• Ability to mentor team members on Node.js and React technologies.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with HTML/CSS and other JavaScript frameworks like Restify, Hapi, Sails, JOI, Moment, Axios.
• Familiarity with VersionOne Application Lifecycle Management Tools.
• Experience with Jenkins and Continuous Integration.
• Knowledge of XML, XSLT, WSDL, JSON standards & protocols.
• Experience with testing tools such as Mocha, Chai, Jest, Sinon, Supertest, Enzyme, Instanbul, Selenium, Load Runner, JSLint.
• Experience with source code versioning and Pull Requests with Git and Stash.
• Experience with IDEs such as VS Code.
• Knowledge of SonarCube, Phabricator, Gerritt, Karma, Jasmine.
• Experience with performance tuning and increasing efficiency of large enterprise systems.
• Experience with environments utilizing Cloud Technologies such as Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with NGiNX web server, MQLight, Redis.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in modern software development.
