NTT DATA Italia is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Node.js Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As part of our Customer Experience Service Line, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our backend development capabilities. You will work with cutting-edge microservices architectures and serverless development frameworks, utilizing the latest technologies to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Implement unit and functional tests using frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, and Jest, promoting a test-driven development approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
- Deploy applications in production environments using containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Apply best practices in design patterns and code versioning using Git and Gitflow.
- Engage in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Skills
- At least 3 years of experience in backend development with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in cloud environments, particularly AWS, and experience with serverless architectures.
- Strong understanding of automation processes and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC).
- Experience in deploying dockerized applications in production environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
