Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will:
- Leverage Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, to define, deploy, and manage customer DevOps pipelines in Google Cloud.
- Ensure advanced knowledge of Google Cloud Platform as it's a critical requirement due to customer workloads being hosted on GCP.
- Perform all CI/CD activities using tools agreed upon with the customer, such as BMC Remedy, GitHub, and JIRA.
- Emphasize automation, aiming to permanently automate deployments and test cases.
- Be an integral part of an Agile team, participating in daily standups, working in sprints, and delivering agreed work packages.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Advanced knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Helm, CI/CD, GitHub, JIRA, and Remedy.
- Strong Linux skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with additional DevOps tools and practices is advantageous but not required.
