Role Overview
We are seeking a Mobile Software Engineer to join our Digital Banking Engineering team. This role is based in our Nicosia offices and is part of the Technology & Digital Division. The ideal candidate will be involved in building and extending features within our digital mobile banking platform app.
Main Responsibilities
- Build and extend features within the digital mobile banking platform app.
- Collaborate in an agile team to develop clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Contribute to testing, releasing, and application support.
- Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
- Actively participate in daily scrum stand-ups and other agile ceremonies.
- Stay up-to-date with new technology and best practices.
Candidate Profile
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of working experience in mobile development.
- Native mobile app development experience on iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin).
- Familiar with remote data via REST APIs.
- Ability to use standard libraries and APIs.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Attentive to detail, methodical, diligent.
- Ability to take initiatives, work in teams or alone as needed.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work within specific and strict timelines.
- Fluency in Greek and English, both verbal and written.
