Job Overview
Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled React JS Technical Lead to join our team in El Segundo, CA. This role requires a dynamic leader who can mentor junior developers, design and develop high-quality software solutions, and drive innovation in the digital economy.
Responsibilities
- Execute standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
- Set overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration.
- Develop secure and high-quality production code, review and debug code written by others.
- Participate in all phases of software development life cycle.
- Work efficiently in an Agile (Scrum or Kanban) environment.
- Design and deliver high-quality features that align with standards.
- Mentor team members on coding standards and perform code reviews.
- Provide on-call support, monitor systems, and identify deficiencies.
- Participate in architecture and engineering code and design reviews.
- Create and execute automated test plans utilizing business requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 7-9 years of experience in developing and/or architecting large complex systems.
- Strong expertise in React JS, Redux, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node JS.
- Experience with public cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
- Basic knowledge in Java, Microservices, RESTful, and Spring Boot.
- Excellent communication skills and active participation in discussions.
