Software Engineer (JavaScript)

Overview

Cognizant is seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer with expertise in JavaScript to join our dynamic team in Vilnius, Lithuania. As a Software Engineer, you will work independently and collaboratively with business and IT stakeholders to develop innovative software solutions. This role is ideal for a full-stack developer with experience in ReactJS, microservices, and multicloud environments, particularly Google Cloud and Ali Cloud. A thorough understanding of key DevOps tools is also essential.

Main Responsibilities

Research, evaluate, and implement new tools and frameworks for building software solutions.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and share knowledge of software best practices.
Evaluate tools and processes for new projects and collaborate with the team to achieve goals.

Requirements

Proficiency in JavaScript and various frameworks like ReactJS.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, and AWS.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
Knowledge in areas such as Test Automation, NestJs, TypeScript, Kotlin, NodeJs, and Java is advantageous.
Adherence to high personal code standards and agile practices, including code reviews and automated testing.

Salary

The salary range for this position is from 2775 EUR to 4625 EUR gross before taxes. The salary offer for the candidate is determined based on predefined salary ranges for the position and depends on the level of competence and experience of the candidate.
