Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team in Lansing, Michigan. This is a contract position for 12 months with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in React.js and a deep understanding of frontend technologies and user experience design principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Implement and ensure compliance with ADA, WCAG 2.1, and Section 508 standards.
- Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to team planning and retrospectives.
Required Skills and Experience
- React.js: Minimum 5 years of experience.
- HTML5 and CSS Frameworks: Minimum 5 years of experience.
- ADA, WCAG 2.1, Section 508 Compliance: Strong knowledge and background required.
- Java: Experience with Java 8+ and relevant IDE tools such as Eclipse/JBoss Developer Studio.
- JPA Framework: Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Spring Framework: Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Data.
- Agile Development: Experience participating as a programmer within an Agile environment.
Location
This position is based in Lansing, Michigan and offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for both on-site and remote work.
Compensation
- Rate: $70 per hour on W2.
