Join AWeber as a Frontend Technical Lead
AWeber is seeking a talented Frontend Technical Lead to join our remote-first team. As a leader in email marketing solutions, AWeber empowers small businesses to connect with their customers through innovative software. We are looking for a passionate individual who can design, develop, and maintain client applications using React and other technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop: Create and support client applications built with React, as well as maintain existing clients using JavaScript and other technologies.
- Technical Leadership: Set the vision for evolving our frontend technical stack and processes, ensuring efficiency and staying current with industry trends.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, Product Managers, and UI/UX Designers to propose creative solutions and develop unit and acceptance tests.
- Mentorship: Coach junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and provide technical thought leadership.
- Innovation: Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and explore technologies across various stacks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SASS, React, and Jest.
- Experience implementing and utilizing React component libraries.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and browser resource caching.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Tailwind CSS, React Query, React Testing Library, and Federated Applications.
- Familiarity with PHP and CDN caching.
