Role Overview
As a Backend Engineer specializing in Node.js and TypeScript, you will be part of a truly cross-functional team. You will participate in product planning from discovery to deployment and collaborate with Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QAs to develop robust new features, APIs, and continuously improve our industry-leading products.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Collaborate with teams to develop new features and APIs.
- Find and fix bugs at Deel Speed.
- Ensure our customers receive a white-glove experience with our products.
Skills and Experience
- Expert knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of databases, mainly PostgreSQL and ORM libraries like Sequelize.
- Familiarity with AWS Services such as S3, EKS, SNS, and SQS.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
