Role Overview
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional team that includes Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QAs. You will participate in product planning from discovery to deployment and collaborate to develop robust new features and APIs, continuously improve our industry-leading products, and find and fix any bugs at Deel Speed.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and maintain applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and other technologies.
- Collaborate with teams to develop new features and APIs.
- Ensure a white-glove experience for our customers.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of databases, particularly PostgreSQL and ORM libraries like Sequelize.
- Experience with AWS Services such as S3, EKS, SNS, and SQS.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
