Join Veriff as a Senior Back-End Engineer

Veriff is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Back-End Engineer to join our External Interfaces Platform team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to shaping Veriff's external interfaces, focusing exclusively on backend technologies. You will dive into mission-critical areas such as the Public API, webhooks, Client Configuration domain, scalability, and databases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test software applications: Use TypeScript to produce high-quality, well-tested code with modern abstractions and frameworks.
Deepen your understanding: Gain a deeper understanding of relevant product areas, codebase, and systems.
Demonstrate proficiency: Show your skills in data analysis, programming, and software engineering.
Tackle problems: Address problems of moderate scope, crafting core backend software components.
Collaborate with teams: Work with other teams, incorporating and sharing innovations.
Conduct design and code reviews: Ensure the quality and efficiency of the codebase.
Drive changes: Identify and drive necessary changes for codebases, product areas, and systems.
Complete features: Independently complete medium to large features, each with many tasks and milestones.

Qualifications

Over 5 years of experience building large-scale applications.
Long-term experience in NodeJS using TypeScript.
Ownership experience of a specific component, feature, or system.
Proven track record in developing, debugging, and shipping software products on large code bases.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
Ability to inspire growth within teams by setting new standards.
