Role Overview
Join Veriff as a Senior Back-End Engineer and be a vital contributor to our Data Verification team. You will focus on backend technologies and work on mission-critical products such as Proof of Address and AML Screening. This role involves extending Veriff's platform to standardize various registry integrations and contribute to new use cases.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software applications using TypeScript and occasionally Python.
- Produce high-quality, well-tested code using modern abstractions and frameworks.
- Deepen your understanding of relevant product areas, codebase, and systems.
- Tackle problems of moderate scope by crafting core backend software components.
- Collaborate with other teams to incorporate and share innovations.
- Conduct design and code reviews.
- Identify and drive changes as needed for codebases, product area, and/or systems.
- Independently complete features with many tasks and milestones.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in building large-scale applications.
- Experience in NodeJS using TypeScript and some experience with Python.
- Ownership experience of a specific feature.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
