Overview
Weavr.io, a pioneering company in the financial services industry, is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in Malta. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about revolutionizing the way businesses integrate Open Banking services through innovative embedded finance technologies.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver top-quality software using best practices in the field.
- Implement, test, and release software to integrate Open Banking services as easily as any other API.
- Troubleshoot and identify root causes of complex technical issues to support the platform.
- Actively involve in the design and development of services and applications.
- Manage integrations and APIs to build the next generation of payment products using Open Banking, cards, and wallets.
Who You Are
- A fundamentally great software engineer with a passion for your trade.
- Experienced with NodeJS backend development and TypeScript.
- Familiar with NodeJS frameworks like Express or Nest.js.
Nice to Have
- Experience with payment technologies.
- Knowledge of event sourcing patterns.
- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and REST services.
- Familiarity with message broker technologies such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience managing AWS with Terraform or Cloudformation.
