About the Role
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be an integral part of our Technology department, the heart of Nederlandse Loterij. You will work on developing and maintaining our lottery websites and backend components, focusing on online channels for Staatsloterij and Lotto. Your role will involve:
- Integrating backend and third-party application functionality using available APIs.
- Safeguarding operational continuity for our platforms, which handle millions of requests per minute during peak loads.
- Setting up CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Collaborating closely with product teams to improve user experience and conversion through feedback and data analysis.
Technologies We Use
You will work with a range of technologies, including but not limited to:
- Cloud software architecture based on Azure
- Jira, Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform
- C#, .Net Core, SignalR, Blazor, CosmosDB
What We Offer
- A competitive salary ranging from €4,600 to €6,600 gross per month, depending on experience.

- A position for 32 - 40 hours per week.

What We Are Looking For
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Deep technical knowledge of IT systems, processes, and various development methods.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a development team.
- Proficiency in the Dutch language.
- Experience with agile working methodologies.
