What You Will Do:
As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Nederlandse Loterij, you will be at the forefront of managing and innovating our Azure environments that support our lottery and iGaming products. Your role is crucial in maintaining, innovating, and monitoring these environments to ensure they are efficient, secure, and optimally utilized. This position places you within our IT team, where you will collaborate with other Cloud Engineers, monitoring specialists, and the security team.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Management: You will manage and maintain our Azure systems, ensuring they are up to date and running smoothly.
- Monitoring: Support the monitoring of various game brand environments to ensure performance and security.
- Innovation: Drive innovations within the IT team, supporting multi-disciplinary teams (including developers) in implementing new technologies and solutions.
- Infrastructure as Code: Utilize Terraform to manage Azure components, ensuring clear and structured deployments and minimal effort during standby hours.
Who You Are:
You are a proactive, data-driven individual with a passion for technology and innovation. You have a strong background in cloud computing, particularly Microsoft Azure, and are familiar with scripting and infrastructure as code principles. Your expertise in PowerShell and Azure CLI will be highly beneficial in this role.
Qualifications:
- Minimum HBO level education, preferably in IT
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, supported by relevant certifications
- Experience with PowerShell and Azure CLI
- Knowledge of Terraform is a plus
