Role Overview
As a Senior Fullstack Developer at Nederlandse Spoorwegen in Utrecht, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the accessibility of the Netherlands through our critical transportation services. This role involves significant responsibilities in both development and operational spheres, making you a key player in our DevOps team.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain the personnel planning application, Donna PP, ensuring its continuous operation and improvement.
- Collaborate closely with your DevOps team to create, deploy, and enhance software solutions.
- Monitor and manage the application in production environments, embracing the philosophy of 'you build it, you run it, you love it.'
- Enhance software quality through rigorous test automation.
- Apply Agile and DevOps methodologies in close collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Where You Will Work
You will be part of the 'Knoop & Service' cluster within the 'Develop, Plan, Adjust, and Provide Train Service' area, focusing on ICT solutions for optimizing our train yards from planning to adjustment applications. Who You Are
- You hold a bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in software development, particularly with Java and React.
- You are proficient in technologies like Azure, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps.
- You have a strong understanding of Spring Boot, Gradle, SQL, REST, and unit testing.
- You thrive in a team environment, contributing both specialized and broad skills to assist your colleagues.
- You are proactive, with a strong ability to give and receive feedback, and you possess a good sense of humor.
