Role Overview
As a Senior Backend Developer at Coöperatie VGZ, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of healthcare in the Netherlands. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and managing applications and interfaces for our online environments. This role involves combining web development with AI components, all running on a Kubernetes cluster with Docker, based on the latest technology standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage backend systems and applications to enhance the customer journey.
- Collaborate with team members from various disciplines to ensure seamless integration and implementation of new features.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
- Utilize Microsoft Azure, C#, and .NET technologies to build scalable and efficient solutions.
Team and Culture
You will join the 'Direct Contact' team, responsible for chatbot and voicebot services. This team operates in a self-organizing manner using T-Shaping techniques, fostering a dynamic and innovative work environment.

Ideal Candidate
- Proactive, creative, and strong in communication.
- Holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Possesses at least 3 years of relevant experience in backend development using Microsoft Azure, C#, and .NET.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Angular 8+, and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
