Staff Frontend Engineer - Gravity Design System
SentinelOneAbout the Role
SentinelOne is seeking a passionate Staff Frontend Engineer to join our team and work on the Gravity Design System. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an enterprise design system that includes a UI component library in React, used by over 100 front-end engineers at SentinelOne.
Responsibilities
- Create and Maintain UI Components: From API proposal to actual implementation, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining UI components and tools leveraged by all UI developers in the company.
- Component API Documentation: Develop and maintain component API documentation using Storybook.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the UX and engineering teams to build components that are easy to use and adhere to SentinelOne's engineering standards.
- Feedback and Review: Provide constructive feedback in code and design reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience
- Frontend Development: Multiple years of experience in frontend development.
- React Expertise: At least 3 years of experience working with React.
- Design Systems: Expertise in creating and managing reusable, scalable, and well-documented design systems.
- Accessibility: Understanding of accessibility principles and experience using tools like Axe and screen readers.
- Collaboration: Ability to work closely with UX and PMs to break down complex concepts and suggest implementation roadmaps.
- UX/UI Principles: Strong understanding of UX and UI principles.
