Your Role

As bunq's Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of our backend development, ensuring our employees and users experience unparalleled stability and performance.

• Collaborate with our product team to design and implement robust backend structures that power cutting-edge, user-facing features.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, helping them unlock their full potential.
• Manage high-availability production systems, and support other departments by developing and maintaining efficient, scalable processes.
• Build your own projects and manage high-availability production systems.
• Innovate by using your creativity to build industry-breaking user-facing features.
• Coordinate efforts to increase efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• Highly skilled in at least one backend programming language.
• Fluent in English, both speaking and writing.
• Experience in building and managing high-availability production systems.
