Role Overview
As a Software Engineer at Bloom & Wild, you will be part of the Product Engineering team, organized into cross-functional squads. Each squad is responsible for a specific business and architectural domain, supported by Platform and Data Engineering teams. You will be actively involved in the Production & Procurement squad within the Ops-Tech team, focusing on internal systems that support daily operations in multiple warehouses.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python-based services with a React frontend, running on Google Cloud Platform.
- Collaborate with Tech Leads and Principal Engineers to select appropriate technologies as the company scales.
- Write, review, and support code throughout the platform, from requirements to production.
- Engage with other engineers, the Product team, warehouse staff, and other stakeholders to deliver the right functionality at the right time.

Ideal Candidate
- 2-4 years of commercial experience with technologies like Python, PostgreSQL, and React.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in warehouse operations or supply chain domains is a plus.
- A mix of back-end and frontend experience is advantageous.
