The Role
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will lead and guide junior engineers and contribute significantly to our software development efforts. You will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support our business operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and build multi-part solutions to story tasks, considering risk mitigation and advanced testing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers in software development and testing.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance our software development processes.
Skills and Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend technologies like JavaScript & TypeScript.
- Proficiency in using frameworks and tools such as Nest.js, Prisma, React, and cloud technologies like GCP.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Docker.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and develop creative solutions.
