About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our team in Seattle. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining elegant web applications using cutting-edge technologies such as React and TypeScript. You will work on a variety of projects that reach millions of restaurateurs globally, focusing on data visualization components and web apps.
Key Responsibilities
- Feature Development: Innovate and develop new features for our Point of Sale, Kiosk, and Direct Ordering product suites.
- Technical Design: Own feature development and prioritize scalability in technical designs for long-term health.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to conceptualize and build new features.
- Code Quality: Promote code review and reuse across products, ensuring high-quality, impactful code.
- Support: Assist operations and business teams in triaging and resolving production issues.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering, developing and shipping applications using JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in React framework and familiarity with the full life cycle of shipping web applications.
- Communication: Strong communicator who can explain complex topics to engineers, designers, and product managers.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
