Job Overview
Join Airbnb's Airfam Products team as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for building the digital experience for Airbnb employees, focusing on integrating a 3rd party platform to ingest events and gathering information for Airfam. You will create a personalized user experience that helps Airfam discover events happening near them and connect with people.
Key Responsibilities
- Build User Experiences: Develop delightful user experiences using web technologies.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and various teams across the organization to understand product requirements and needs.
- Data Integration: Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and other engineers to build an integrated experience for events within our internal site.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of full stack software development experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/EE, or equivalent experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, experience with GraphQL, Node.js, React, and preferably Next.js.
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with a history of strong collaborations with technical and non-technical partners.
