Role Overview
As a Senior C# Backend Developer in the Security Engineering team at Dayforce, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing new products and features as well as enhancing existing solutions related to our global people platform, Dayforce. This role involves working remotely anywhere in the United States or Canada, focusing on building performant, scalable, and secure core components and frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Support the platform team with cybersecurity efforts.
- Analyze, design, prototype, program, test, troubleshoot, and support the complete software lifecycle.
- Envision and deliver new features and frameworks by collaborating with clients, prospects, implementation partners, and Dayforce personnel.
- Create and enhance a scalable, performant, and secure SaaS enterprise application.
- Assess risks and impacts on the existing system as new functionality is added.
- Perform code reviews and mentor other developers.
Skills and Experience
- 7+ years of experience with C# and .NET Framework.
- Hands-on development with front-end frameworks and scripting (React and/or Angular, and JavaScript).
- 3+ years’ experience with cybersecurity and/or cloud technologies.
- Proficiency with TSQL and relational database systems.
- Experience building architectural and low-level components such as background processing components, build and deployment systems, security, identity management, logging, APIs, interfaces, and messaging components.
- Experience with advanced programming constructs such as multi-threaded programming, dependency injection, database design, and performance optimization.
