Microsoft is seeking experienced Software Engineers to join the Power Automate Process Intelligence team. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that is transforming businesses globally. As part of the Business Applications Platform in the Cloud & AI group, you will help build capabilities from the ground up in a start-up environment.

About the Role

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale services and user-friendly experiences. You will take ownership of features from development to production, focusing on high performance, ease of use, stability, and availability of process mining as a service. You will work in an agile, data-driven, and fast-paced environment, enabling continuous delivery at scale and ensuring high-quality outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user requirements and incorporate feedback to improve features based on customer value and usage metrics.
• Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions.
• Write maintainable code, apply best practices, and participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Drive project implementation from planning and experimentation to deployment.
• Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) on a rotational, on-call basis, maintaining and supporting live services.
• Identify and mitigate issues impacting performance or functionality, and drive efforts to reduce incident volume through telemetry and data analytics.
• Promote engineering excellence by developing and utilizing software development tools, advocating for automation, and ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• Mid to Senior level technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Understanding of DevOps tools and methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as React/Redux and TypeScript.
• Experience developing cloud services on Azure/AWS/GCP or other cloud platforms.

Preferred

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Passion for high-availability, automation, performance, and building highly available distributed systems at scale.
• Experience working on WPF is a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a geo-distributed group.

Salary

The salary for this position starts from 36,000 EUR per year.
