Senior Backend Engineer - .NET/C#
SustainCERTRole Overview
Join SustainCERT as a Senior Backend Engineer and be part of our Technology & Data team, specifically the Universal Verification & Validation team. This role is crucial for our core product, a multi-standard platform for the validation and verification of carbon credits. You will be writing clean, scalable code primarily using the .NET framework and collaborating closely with our data science and data engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET.
- Troubleshoot and debug software applications.
- Resolve technical issues and improve existing software.
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
- Revise, update, refactor, and debug code.
- Develop and integrate web services using technologies such as RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to develop data-driven solutions.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development within .NET and C#.
- Hands-on experience in database design, architecture, and integration.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and methods.
Bonus Points
- Experience with GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with Azure Cloud.
