About The Opportunity
As a Senior Demo Software Engineer at Contentful, you will be at the forefront of showcasing the latest product features through digital applications. Your role is pivotal in demonstrating the capabilities of Contentful within various established and emerging markets. You will be instrumental in product launches, analyst calls, and annual customer conferences by creating engaging and informative demos.
What You Will Do
- Develop digital applications to showcase Contentful's features.
- Be the first to access new product features and integrate them into demos.
- Create how-to guides, tutorials, and technical videos during off-seasons.
- Occasionally conduct in-person workshops to educate users on Contentful.
Your Technical Environment
- Work across a range of tasks including frontend, backend, QA, and DevOps.
- Engage with a modern technology stack and have significant input on tools and architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Partnership teams to meet business and technical requirements.
What You Need To Succeed
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks and extensive API work.
- Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and DevOps best practices.
- Ability to identify and solve high-impact technical problems independently.
