Overview
Lightspeed Commerce is seeking a talented Senior Frontend Developer to join our Hospitality product group. This role involves enhancing our advanced hospitality commerce platform and expanding into new markets. You will be part of a team focused on the Kitchen Display System (KDS), a crucial product that increases restaurant efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and create elegant, functional web applications.
- Mentor and train junior team members.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Platform Teams.
- Develop new features and support existing functionality.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and brainstorm innovative ideas.
- Advocate for high code quality and contribute to codebase health.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and CSS.
- Experience with Svelte and React.js frameworks.
- Familiarity with Next.js, WebSockets, and testing with Cypress.
- Understanding of authentication methods like OAuth2 and JWT.
- Proficiency in API design with REST and GraphQL.
- Experience in performance optimizations and security best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Backend development experience.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructures.
- Keen eye for UI/UX design.
