About The Role
Wolfjaw Studios is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with a focus on frontend development to join our engineering team. This role is pivotal in developing and improving the features we curate for our client partners, with a strong emphasis on backend development for online game services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications and toolkits using React and TypeScript.
- Contribute to discussions around architecture, design, and approach for technical problems.
- Build APIs, SDKs, and internal interfaces for developers within a React/TypeScript codebase.
- Work with various data sources and integrate APIs into React applications.
- Engage in full stack/backend engineering using C#/.NET and SQL.
- Collaborate in a version control environment (Gitlab, Perforce, etc.).
- Lead and contribute to greenfield projects, following design patterns and best practices.
- Work on legacy codebases and perform exploratory work.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of programming experience, including paid, volunteer, project, and academic work.
- Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
- Experience with C#/.NET and SQL.
- Familiarity with Redis and message brokers.
- Experience deploying applications to AWS, using tools like Kubernetes or ECS.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Passion for the gaming industry and understanding of its dynamics.
Pluses
- Experience building SDKs with TypeScript and React.
- Experience with Linux/WSL.
- Experience leading teams and initiatives.
- Previous experience in the games industry.

Location
This position is remote, with the option for a hybrid arrangement for candidates local to Troy, NY. Eligible states for remote work include Arizona, California, Georgia, Florida, Idaho, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, and Vermont.
