Job Overview
Our award-winning tech community in Turku is seeking a Lead Developer to guide our teams and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role involves working closely with both technical and business stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and drive successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Client Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for technical queries and quality assurance.
- Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration between various stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
- Feature Implementation: Implement new features across front-end applications, back-end servers, and databases.
- Workflow Optimization: Empower the team to discover optimal workflows and promote a healthy work-life balance.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure future collaboration.
- Agile Practices: Assist the team in adopting and following agile practices.
Required Skills and Experience
- Broad Technical Expertise: Experience in back-end, front-end, and operations is essential.
- Agile Project Management: Solid understanding and experience with agile principles.
- Leadership and Consulting: Previous team-lead and consulting experience.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and at least one server-side language like Java, Scala, Kotlin, or Python.
- Front-end Frameworks: Strong knowledge in React and other client-side languages and frameworks.
- Database Management: Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL.
- CI/CD: Ability to tweak CI/CD pipelines as needed.
