Job Overview
Reaktor is seeking a Lead Developer to join our award-winning tech community in Helsinki. This role involves working with the full software development lifecycle, helping your team succeed, and delivering results to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Client Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for technical questions and quality of delivery.
- Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration between client's tech and business teams to ensure quality delivery.
- Feature Implementation: Implement new features across front-end applications, back-end servers, and databases.
- Workflow Improvement: Empower the team to discover optimal workflows and promote a healthy work-life balance.
- Relationship Building: Build lasting relationships with clients to ensure future collaboration.
- Agile Practices: Assist the team in adopting and following agile practices.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience: At least eight years of relevant work experience in a broad spectrum of software development (back end, front end, and ops).
- Skills: Strong knowledge in server-side programming languages like TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, Java/Scala/Kotlin, Clojure, and Python. Proficiency in client-side languages and frameworks such as TypeScript/JavaScript and React, or Swift, Java/Scala/Kotlin, or TypeScript/JavaScript React-native.
- Project Management: Solid understanding and experience of agile project management principles.
- Consulting: Previous team-lead and consulting experience.
