About the Role

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be an integral part of our small but powerful tech team, owning the full development life cycle. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, with a strong emphasis on coding and DevOps tasks. This role requires a high level of expertise and the ability to work in high-stress situations, sometimes outside of normal office hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and design teams to create product and functional specifications.
• Participate in code reviews to enhance team knowledge and ensure high-quality code.
• Provide live support for field teams during event filming, broadcasting, and production.
• Build and maintain API services that support our websites, mobile applications, and third-party vendors.
• Engage in DevOps tasks within our AWS stack, including ECR, EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, and Amplify.
• Ensure high availability of our entire stack using Kubernetes and monitoring tools like DataDog.

Our Tech Stack

• Front-End: React, HTML, CSS (Tailwind)
• Back-End: Node.js, TypeScript
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis
• DevOps: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD

Who You Are

• You have extensive experience creating websites from the ground up, including writing RESTful APIs and coding designs into HTML/CSS.
• You have managed multiple environments for various websites and handled emergency outages and high-pressure scenarios.
• You are self-motivated, idea-driven, and a lifelong learner.
• You are scrappy and willing to work on all parts of the stack, including DevOps.

Experience Required

• 5 years of back-end development experience.
• 5 years of front-end development experience.
• 4 years of database management experience.
• 3 years of experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.

Work Environment
