Senior Full Stack Developer with Salesforce Focus

About the Role

As a Senior Full Stack Developer with a focus on Salesforce, you will be a key player in the OTTO Advertising team, contributing to the strategic success of our advertising platform. You will design and develop features for our Salesforce CRM, which serves as a comprehensive management tool in the advertising services domain. Your work will involve planning and documenting advertising campaigns, managing sales events, and handling contact and account management.

Key Responsibilities

• Feature Development: Design and develop new features for our Salesforce CRM, ensuring they meet the needs of advertising services.
• System Migration: Assist in replacing an old Salesforce CRM with our new development.
• Testing and Deployment: Ensure the functionality of your features through rigorous testing and deploy them using continuous integration practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with your team using agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum.
• Code Quality: Conduct code reviews through pull requests to maintain high code quality.

Your Profile

Must-Have Skills

• Extensive experience in back-end development, ideally with Apex or Java.
• A DevOps mindset with experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in web development, preferably with the Salesforce Lightning Component Framework.
• Proficiency in automated testing (unit, integration, E2E).
• Strong appreciation for clean code principles and good architecture.
• Agile mindset and openness to agile methods like continuous integration.
• Analytical thinking for problem identification and solution development.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical challenges to non-technical stakeholders.
• Motivation to learn new topics and technologies and drive them forward in the team.
• Language proficiency in German or English at B2 level.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Extensive experience in Salesforce development and the Salesforce Cloud.
• Experience with test-driven development.
• Experience with GitHub Actions.
