About the Role
Join Salesforce as a Senior Backend Software Development Engineer, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our products and services. This role involves working with a team of world-class engineers to develop and enhance backend applications for various Salesforce clouds such as Marketing, Commerce, Sales, Service, Einstein, MuleSoft, Platform, and Industries Clouds, as well as Heroku.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust APIs and API frameworks that perform and scale in a multi-tenant environment.
- Handle large data sets in cloud environments like GCP, AWS, Alibaba, and Azure.
- Integrate with internal and external systems to enhance product functionality.
- Employ test-driven development practices alongside CI/CD tools to ensure high-quality software deployment.
Required Skills
- A technical degree in a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in backend software development.
- Profound knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, Go, C#, Ruby, Scala, Python, Node.JS, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with web standards related to APIs such as REST, SOAP, XML, WSDL, HTTP, and JSON.
- Experience with frameworks and protocols like Spring, gRPC, and REST.
