Senior Full Stack Engineer (Node.js, React Native, React.js, TypeScript)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Consumer group at MoonPay. This role focuses on developing and enhancing our consumer products, including mobile, web, and partner experiences. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and developing new features, collaborating with product managers, and ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and Develop: Design and implement new and existing products and features.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers to devise the best solutions and implementation plans for new features or changes.
• Integration: Collaborate with other product teams to deliver and improve customer-facing features.
• Project Management: Contribute to the estimations, planning, and execution of projects, features, and integrations.
• External Collaboration: Integrate and work closely with external service providers to ensure smooth operation.
• Code Quality: Maintain and improve our existing codebase by writing fully tested, high-quality, and performant code.

About You

• Experience: Proven experience in software engineering at leading startups or fast-growing tech companies.
• Application Development: Confident in developing, releasing, and maintaining consumer-facing applications in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Tech Stack: Experience with React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, or the ability to quickly cross-train and upskill.
• Database Knowledge: Understand database structures, theories, principles, and best practices.
• Cloud Experience: Experience working with applications deployed on public clouds such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure (we use GCP).

Senior Responsibilities

• Mentorship: Mentor and coach engineers.
• Code Quality: Champion the writing of high-quality code.
• Standards: Contribute to our overall approach and standards within the engineering discipline, including design, documentation, monitoring, and alerting.
• Leadership: Lead initiatives from an engineering perspective, partnering closely with product managers.
