Coram AI, founded in 2021, is at the forefront of the video security industry, developing advanced AI-driven software systems for security cameras. Our technology allows seamless integration with any IP camera and existing physical security infrastructure, enhancing safety and efficiency without extensive hardware replacements.
Team Overview
Our team, led by co-founders Ashesh (CEO) and Peter (CTO), consists of experts in AI and robotics with backgrounds from prestigious companies and institutions such as Lyft, Google, Zoox, Toyota, Facebook, Microsoft, Stanford, Oxford, and Cornell. Our go-to-market team includes seasoned leaders from Verkada.
The Role
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new backend APIs in collaboration with the edge team.
- Develop user-facing front-end interfaces alongside the product team.
- Ensure scalability and full observability of the system.
- Deliver high-quality features, conduct thorough testing, and handle debugging.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industry experience in building large-scale systems.
- Proficiency in backend technologies like FastAPI, Python3, Docker, Postgres, Redis.
- Expertise in front-end technologies including TypeScript, React, react-query, and React component libraries (MUI).
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-code solutions (Pulumi over AWS) and mobile development (React-native) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge in platform engineering (C++), or video streaming is a bonus.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $220,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
