Join Postman as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, AI
The Opportunity
Postman is investing heavily in enabling users to augment their experience with AI. We have built a collaborative AI agent called Postbot that helps users automate key use cases in writing tests, visualizations of responses, and documentation using natural language. We are looking to integrate AI more deeply into our platform with key interaction patterns inspired by AI-first editors like Cursor and Copilot.
What You’ll Do
- Own and Deliver: Deliver improvements to the core product experience, focusing on onboarding and activation.
- Innovate and Experiment: Lead experiments with new AI-driven features, iterating quickly on prototypes to validate ideas and gather feedback.
- Integrate AI: Enhance Postbot's utility by integrating it into key surfaces like the script editor and documentation editor.
- Own End-to-End Workflows: Drive measurable improvements to user experience, particularly for first-time users.
- Understand the User: Collaborate with end users to understand their workflows and improve our product.
- Learn and Grow: Broaden your knowledge of the core product and the domain over time.
- Collaborate Across Boundaries: Work with team members across the US and India to streamline collaboration.
About You
- Experience: At least 3+ years of experience in building frontend, full-stack, and/or machine learning projects.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and familiarity with frameworks like React or Next.js.
- Cloud and AI Knowledge: Familiarity with AI, GenAI, Machine Learning, and at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential as we are a remote-first team.
- Detail Oriented: A keen eye for detail and a focus on delivering a great product experience.
- Customer Obsession: Ability to leverage customer feedback to drive decision-making and product improvements.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with machine learning systems and delivering AI-augmented features.
- Experience with full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript and state management tools like MobX.
- Experience working on B2B products and/or developer tools.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: €177,607 to €240,292 per year, plus a competitive equity package.
